Hypnotherapy Q&As
What does hypnosis feel like?
Deeply relaxing. Most people describe a calm, pleasant state, a little like the moment just before sleep, and they hear my voice clearly the whole time.

During hypnosis
Your body settles and your breathing slows. Your attention narrows to my voice and to the pictures and feelings we're working with, while the everyday chatter in your head quietens down.
You stay aware of the room. You hear every word, and you can speak and pause whenever you wish.
Afterwards
When I bring you back to the room, you leave feeling lighter, with a clear sense of progress.
With practice, reaching that state becomes quicker and easier. That's one reason I teach self-hypnosis: the calm becomes something you return to on demand.
