Hypnotherapy Q&As

Does hypnotherapy work for weight loss?

Yes. Hypnotherapy changes the way you think and feel about food, so the eating plan you've chosen feels natural instead of a daily battle.

Beyond willpower

You already know what to eat. The trouble is the eating that runs on autopilot and answers feelings: tiredness, stress, boredom, the wish for a small reward. Willpower holds for a few weeks, then the old routine creeps back. Hypnotherapy works at the level where that routine lives.

How I work

I map your eating in detail, then use Ericksonian hypnosis, NLP anchors and reframes, and future rehearsal to weaken the pull of trigger foods and make new choices feel familiar. You learn a short self-hypnosis routine to keep the momentum going.

All of this sits alongside a sensible, calorie-controlled eating plan of your choosing, and makes that plan easier to follow day after day. You still decide what you eat; a treat becomes a choice you make calmly and enjoy.

Sessions and fees

Most clients choose the 7-hour course, usually five sessions: £975 in person in Bournemouth or £750 online.
